Your logo will stand out when embroidered baseball cap, but there are restrictions, as with anything. For best results, text lettering should be at least 14" tall. If your logo has gradients or shadowing, you should get rid of them because they won't translate well to a small space.

One of the more affordable and simple ways to promote your brand to the general public is through hats. We think embroidered baseball caps are a great way to display your logo or tagline, whether you wear them yourself, give them away to customers, or sell them to clients.

Why Embroidery and Not Printing?

In other words, embroidery will last longer. The fabric and structure of the longer-lasting hat styles do not lend themselves to screen printing; instead, customization is only possible through embroidery. There are options for screen printing on some types of hats, but if you want to get the most value for your money when making a custom hat, embroidery is the way to go.

What Cap Designs Should I Look At?

When embroidering a hat, there are a few different designs to take into account:

  • The traditional baseball cap with a hook and loop or buckle closure. Due to the user's ability to adjust to his or her head, these are available in a one size fits all design
  • A trucker hat has the same enclosures as a traditional baseball cap, but a mesh backing that enhances airflow to the head.
  • A Golf Hat - High-performance moisture-wicking fabric is used for the golf hat.
  • Visor - It has the same enclosure and brim as a baseball cap but no top panels.
  • Beanie, a pom, included or not. These hats are available in a variety of materials, hues, and designs

Where Can I Get A Cap Embroidered?

So many locations! You can follow the standard path by going front and center. Alternatively, you could use the modern design trend of off-centering the front-facing panels to the left or right. The side or back of your custom baseball hats is an additional area to think about customizing. The logo should be no larger than 5" wide by 2.5" tall on the front and 3" wide by 2.5" tall on the side. Regarding the back, the area is 2.5" wide by 0.75" tall, arched over the opening for an enclosure, and 2.5" wide by 1.5" tall.

Whoa, what about the brim, some have asked? That requires an additional level of customization and a minimum order quantity because it can only be made when the hat is being made. All of our custom embroidered hats are purchased through our many suppliers as finished goods with predetermined fabrics, colors, and structures.

What Designs Look Best?

If your logo has gradients or shadowing, you should get rid of them because they won't translate well to a small space. Additionally difficult to see and reproduce are fine lines. The secret is to keep the design's integrity while simplifying.
